Quality Support Technician

Develops and updates quality assurance work instructions, data sheets, and documentation.
Supports the organization by identifying areas of improvement, gathering information, and developing and defining testing per operational requirements.
Performs testing and evaluation for multidisciplinary modules in all departments, including Mechanics, Electronics, Embedded and Software. Testing is completed at various stages of lifecycle: Integration, Regression, End to end, Usability, and Performance.
Utilizes root cause analysis and provides corrective actions to improve products and processes.
Communicates effectively to management regarding problems and corrective action.
Maintains compliance with ISO 9001 standardization and all organizational policies and procedures.
Engages in and actively volunteers for Continuous Improvement projects/tasks.
Participates in and sustains 5S Standards.
Must follow all required ISO procedures, comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements, and adhere to SIG SAUER, Inc. security mandates.
International travel at least quarterly.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent required, associate degree in a technical field preferred.
2+ years’ experience in QA for multidisciplinary systems required.
Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with basic optical, electrical, and mechanical test instruments and techniques.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 standardization.
Excellent spoken and written English skills with clear articulation and persuasive communication abilities is required.
Strong organization, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
Experience utilizing hand tools and small power tools is required, experience with automated testing tools preferred.
Military service background as a systems operator, QA, or instructor preferred.
Experience using and maintaining firearms is preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
