Hardware Validation Practical Engineer or Technician

Key Responsibilities

  • li_ico Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electronic circuit boards and components
  • li_ico Deep understanding of electronic schematics, datasheets, and the overall flow of electronic circuits
  • li_ico Electronics boards bring up
  • li_ico Proof of Design (POD), develop and execute comprehensive test plans and procedures
  • li_ico Integrations and problem-solving in the office and the field
  • li_ico Conduct environmental stress and EMI and reliability testing on electronic hardware
  • li_ico Analyze test data to identify defects, failures, and performance issues
  • li_ico Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve validation issues
  • li_ico Document test results and create detailed validation reports
  • li_ico Design and validate system cables
  • li_ico Maintain accurate and up-to-date test equipment and laboratory environment
  • li_ico Stay current with industry standards and best practices for hardware validation
  • li_ico Adhere to strict quality control standards and safety protocols

Desired Skills

  • li_ico Minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware validation for multi-disciplinary systems
  • li_ico Strong understanding of electronic components, circuits, and systems
  • li_ico Proficiency in using electronic test equipment (soldering station, oscilloscope, multimeter, spectrum analyzer, etc.)
  • li_ico Experience with environmental and reliability testing methodologies
  • li_ico Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • li_ico Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • li_ico Strong documentation and reporting skills
  • li_ico Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (if required)
