Technical Sales & Support Analyst
Key Responsibilities
- Schedules and conducts local and overseas demonstrations of defense systems to government special forces key personnel.
- Plans and supports VIP visits by providing technical support and demonstrations.
- Provides technical responses for RFIs/RFPs and supports technical requests from customers all while ensuring customers’ technical specifications are met.
- Proposes and analyzes product configuration and recommend products based upon customer specifications.
- Provides product training, demonstration, instruction to customers, and participates in technical evaluations.
- Demonstrates ability to influence and build strong partnerships and teamwork.
- Provides expert technical advice to the salesforce.
- Supports the Senior Management team in digital marketing initiatives.
- Engages in and actively volunteers for Continuous Improvement projects/tasks.
- Participates in and sustains 5S Standards.
- Must follow all required ISO procedures, comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements, and adhere to SIG SAUER, Inc. security mandates.
- International travel at least monthly.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Desired Skills
- 2+ years relevant experience post-graduation in a pre-sales/sales role involving overseas demonstrations. Military experience preferred.
- 3+ years of training skills and proven training past performance is required.
- Self-starter, able to initiate action without supervision.
- Excellent customer service skills/orientation.
- Must be flexible, a team player, and possess the ability to multi-task and re-focus as needed.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills with clear articulation and persuasive communication abilities. Experience with the Russian language is preferred.
- Experience Using And Maintaining Firearms Is Preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
